气动弹簧2段夹具主要用于橡胶、塑料、纺织品、布料和纸张等材料的拉伸测试。样品可以通过弹簧的作用力被临时紧固，然后用一只手打开或关闭夹具，用另一只手将试件位置放置于合适的位置。由于可以通过手动操作简单地打开或关闭夹齿，比传统的气动平行夹具更容易地进行试件的定位。
